At launch there will be a demo mode: download it, try it, done. No credit card, no account. Demo mode limits a few things (few pages, watermark, no PDF export). Enough to see whether Sketrix fits you.
Sketrix is only available on the App Store, for the Mac. The iPad version is planned. One purchase covers both platforms. Payment, updates and privacy all run through Apple.
Sketrix saves projects as .skx files. Normal files on your Mac. You decide where they live. Locally, on an external drive or in iCloud. No server. No account. No forced upload.
